Structure

Subject + have / has + past participle

Example:

Ever (questions)

Use ever to ask about experiences.

  • Have you ever climbed a mountain?

  • Have you ever explored a cave?

  • Have you ever painted a picture?

Never (negative experience)

Use never to say something has not happened in your life.

  • I have never jumped from a high place.

  • I have never collected fossils.

  • I have never hated a sport.
