DIALOGUE – THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORT

Anna: Do you think driverless cars will become normal?

Mark: Yes, I think they will.

Anna: Will people still need a driving licence?

Mark: I'm not sure. They probably won't need one for fully autonomous vehicles.

Anna: What about car batteries?

Mark: I think people will charge their cars much faster in the future.

Anna: That sounds convenient.

SHORT ARTICLE

Technology is changing rapidly, and many experts believe that life will look very different in the future. Engineers are already developing autonomous and driverless vehicles that can travel without human control. Some people think drivers won't need a traditional licence in the future because computers will make fewer mistakes than humans. Vehicle displays will become more advanced and provide real-time information about traffic and safety. At the same time, battery technology will improve, allowing people to charge electric vehicles much more quickly. Internet connections will also become faster, helping smart devices communicate more efficiently. Although nobody knows exactly what the future will bring, technology will continue to transform the way we live.

Read the article twice. Focus on the use of will for predictions.
