SHORT ARTICLE

Learning a language requires consistency and good habits. Students have to practise regularly if they want to improve. They need to spend time reading, listening, and speaking. However, they needn't study for many hours every day. Short, focused practice sessions are often more effective. Teachers often say that learners should speak English as much as possible. Some students progress quickly, while others improve more slowly, but everyone can succeed with effort. It is also important to listen carefully, respond cheerfully to feedback, and avoid reacting angrily when mistakes happen. People who practise consistently usually perform very well over time.

Read the article twice.

Focus on the difference between have to, should, need to, and needn't.
