SHORT ARTICLE
Before starting her new job, Emma wanted to feel confident and prepared. She had her hair cut and had a new suit fitted for the first day. She also had her laptop repaired after it suddenly stopped working. Although she was a little annoyed by the unexpected problems, she remained calm and professional. When everything was ready, she felt delighted and excited about beginning her new career. Her new colleagues were friendly and charming, and she quickly stopped feeling lonely. By the end of the week, she realised she was mad about her new job and was curious to learn even more.
