WARM UP

Look around you and point.

  • What objects can you see?

  • What colours do you see?

  • Which objects are near you? Which are far?

Say the words out loud.

VOCABULARY – CLASSROOM OBJECTS & COLOURS

Classroom Objects

  • book – libro

  • notebook – cuaderno

  • pen – bolígrafo

  • pencil – lápiz

  • desk – escritorio / mesa

  • chair – silla

  • board – pizarra

  • bag – mochila / bolso

Colours

  • black – negro

  • white – blanco

  • blue – azul

  • red – rojo

  • yellow – amarillo

GRAMMAR – THIS, THAT, THESE, THOSE

We use these words to show and point to things.

  • this → one thing, near (esto / este / esta)

  • that → one thing, far (eso / ese / esa)

  • these → many things, near (estos / estas)

  • those → many things, far (esos / esas)
