VOCABULARY – ADJECTIVES (WITH PHONETICS)
Adjectives
• difficult /ˈdɪfɪkəlt/ – difícil
Example: The test was difficult.
• easy /ˈiːzi/ – fácil
Example: The exercise was easy.
• excited /ɪkˈsaɪtɪd/ – emocionado
Example: I was excited yesterday.
• fast /fɑːst/ – rápido

Yesterday was a long day. I was a little late in the morning, but my class was very easy. My teacher was very friendly, and my classmates were excited. In the evening, the city was very loud, but I was happy. The day was not difficult, and time went very fast.
