STORY

The Strange Storm

Tom looked out of the window and couldn’t believe what he saw.*

It was raining heavily and a strange man was running across the street without shoes. (Suddenly,) the man started shouting for help because a tree had fallen onto a car.

Tom quickly put on his jacket and ran outside. (After that,) he called the emergency services while* another neighbour helped the driver get out safely.

(A few minutes later,) the police and an ambulance arrived. Everyone was wet and tired, but luckily nobody was seriously hurt.

(Finally,) Tom went home feeling shocked about the strange events of the evening.
